Genmaicha Organic

Genmaicha is a traditional Japanese Green tea that mixes Sencha tea and roasted brown rice. 'Genmai' is Japanese for 'Brown Rice' and 'cha' is 'Tea', together you get Genmaicha - Brown Rice Tea. The quality of Genmaicha is determined by the ratio of rice to tea, and in the case of this blend, there is a very high tea content to rice, allowing you to enjoy the flavour of the Sencha, with the subtle rice undertone. Together they produce a pleasantly smooth taste that can be enjoyed hot or iced, and alone or a part of a meal.

This tea is certified organic, with both the tea and the rice grown with no chemical pesticides used in cultivation. The organic nature of this tea enhances the natural flavour of the tea, and preserves the natural nutrients inherent to the ingredients.
